Peeble is a design studio based in Pune, India and currently headed by co-founders Abhay Singh and Aparajita Das. Our expertise lies in graphic design, game design and animation.
The studio was born out of the founders' desire to make a real difference to the design industry by combining their individual strengths into one massive design ideology. As a result, the unique approach towards design at Peeble is a sum of the largely complementary fields of graphic design and animation. We love to mix in simplicity with complexity, merge typography with graffiti, add detailed concept art to minimalistic motion graphics.
We help start-ups launch successfully with a dash of identity design. We stir up bands' sales with a sprinkle of graphic design on their album covers. We join not-for-profits and corporates in their educational and promotional ventures with a generous helping of animation and motion graphics. We work with developers to bring their games to life, serving them a scoop of game design. Whatever the project, we think things through from our clients' point of view and make every scrumptious design our own.
As for the meaning of the name "Peeble", well it's what we get asked most often. We love how much interest and curiosity such a simple name can generate. Simply put, the name doesn't mean anything. Nothing at all. You could perceive it as an abstraction of the word "Pebble", or a reference to Peebles in Scotland or even a cute, fuzzy character name; but really, in a jungle full of design studios named after spices, fruits, trees and animals, we just wanted to stand out. We wanted a name that would reflect our out-of-the-box thinking, a name that we could own. We got lucky with the amount of interest it created.
Abhay Singh is a graphic designer, a user-experience designer, a photography enthusiast and an amateur chef. He has been designing identities and user-interfaces on a freelance basis since 2004. He still designs much of the same stuff, but has now added print design, game design and motion-graphic design to his expertise.
Abhay has obtained the degree B.Des. Communication Design specializing in Graphic Design.

Aparajita Das is a fine-artist, animator and character designer by profession and a creative perfectionist by nature. She has six years of professional training in traditional and digital art, illustration and 2D animation. Her amazing conceptualization skills are the core of most of our projects.
